When you’re running on broken sleep, everything can start to feel overwhelming.

The nights feel long.
The days feel even longer.
And sometimes, you just need someone to step in and help you breathe again.

I offer gentle, experienced overnight support for families with newborns and young babies, so you can rest, recover, and feel like yourself again.

When everything feels like too much.

Whether this is your first baby or your third, those early months can feel incredibly intense.

You might be:

  • exhausted and running on empty

  • unsure what’s normal and what’s not

  • trying to juggle feeds, sleep and recovery

  • just needing a proper night’s rest

You’re not doing anything wrong.
You’re just tired.

And you don’t have to do it all on your own.

How I support you

I come into your home overnight and take care of your baby, so you can sleep knowing everything is being looked after.

That might include:

  • settling and soothing your baby through the night

  • supporting feeds, whether that’s breastfeeding, bottle feeding or a mix

  • winding, changing and resettling

  • keeping everything calm, quiet and consistent

Every family is different, so everything is tailored around what you need.

It’s not just about the night.

For me, it’s never just about getting through the night.

It’s about helping things feel more manageable overall.

While we’re working together, I’m there to support you with:

 

  • feeding guidance and reassurance

  • gentle sleep habits and routines

  • answering those “is this normal?” questions

  • small changes during the day that make nights easier

Sometimes just knowing someone is there to ask makes all the difference.

A calm, gentle approach

I don’t believe in rigid routines or leaving babies to cry.

Everything I do is gentle, responsive and based around your baby and your family.

My role is to support you, not take over or tell you how things “should” be done.

We work together to find what feels right for you.

I’ve worked with children and families for many years, and caring for babies has always been where I feel most at home.

I’ve supported families with newborns, twins, and those early weeks where everything feels new and uncertain.

I also understand, on a personal level, how emotional and overwhelming this time can be.

That understanding shapes how I work with every family I support.

"Dani came to us as a night nanny for three days a week from when our daughter was six days old until she turned four months. She bonded well with the baby, who was comfortable with her. Within a couple of days, Dani had a good read of her, bringing her down to me at night for a feed at the perfect time – i.e. stretching it out as long as possible, but handing her over before she was really fussy.

 

Dani was also good adult company and I enjoyed our many chats as my daughter fed. Given her wealth of experience with other people’s children, as well as her own, she’s an excellent font of knowledge and full of good tips and tricks.Dani is a conscientious professional.

 

She was always on time (except once with good reason, and gave fair notice). She is adaptable and happy to work with the parents’ preferences. She cares as much about the mother’s well-being as she does the child’s.If we were to have a second child, we’d ask her back without hesitation".

"I found Dani to be extremely supportive, flexible and knowledgeable and right from the start, always encouraged us to contact her if we had any questions/worries regarding our daughter so that she could offer advice. 

 

I was instantly comfortable with Dani and very much looked forward to our full nights of sleep! Dani had the right balance of following the feeding/sleep training approach we wished to take with our daughter, whilst still giving guidance and advice as to how we could progress and build on what we had achieved so far. 

 

Dani worked with us for 2 nights a week from my daughter being 6-12 weeks old. During that time we went from 3 feeds a night to now only needing to dream feed once  around midnight  and our little one is now usually sleeping through to her morning feed, so we are getting much more sleep nowadays. Dani also helped us with transitioning our daughter from breast milk to formula. 
 

I would strongly recommend Dani to anyone who is thinking of enlisting a night nurse. I found her to be very supportive and took the time to get to know our little one and was always very happy to help and offer advice throughout the week. Whilst we are now in a pretty good position with our daughters sleeping, should we ever need a break, we would have no hesitation in asking Dani for help again! "

"Dani was such a huge help to us in the first few months after Isla’s arrival. We had very little understanding of what to expect and Isla was premature and small, Dani was far more supportive and helpful to us than any health visitor could be – she gave practical and pragmatic advice to us and helped us navigate any challenges. For example, when Isla started refusing the bottle, she advised how to tackle this.  When she had a cold at 5 weeks old, we were advised on the products that would help medicate and unblock her nose.  These might seem like small things but to a first-time mum trying to grapple with information overload and sleep deprivation, it was above and beyond helpful.
We employed Dani as a night nanny one night a week from 2 weeks to when Isla started sleeping through at five months.  She was so friendly and caring always enquiring as to how we were as parents not just how Isla had been each week.  We so looked forward to her visits – they were the highlight of my week and Isla really bonded with Dani too often saving her biggest smiles for her each morning!  We cannot recommend Dani highly enough to anyone due to have a baby, those first few months are tough and Dani made it so much easier for us both – we will forever be grateful for her help and it was the best decision we made to get through the first few sleepless months!"

"I could not have asked for better support during the initial first few days when it is daunting for a new mother who also needs sleep and rest, especially whilst trying to recover from a C-Section.

Dani was wonderful. Really empowering and supportive. She was our night nanny for our baby twins from 10 days until they were 14 weeks old and she was so good with them; we trusted her completely and knowing they were in such safe hands enabled us to enjoy some much needed sleep! She was flexible when dates needed to change, reliable, and gave advice when requested (but also took direction without challenge as appropriate).

 

Recommend her v highly! We will miss her!
